We tried a bag o’ crumpets going in blind. Seemed to be part English muffin and part extra-fluffy pancake. Topped it with dark-chocolate-peanut butter & boysenberry jam. Delicious!

hi Peter – cool blog you have going here. Please tell me you put the crumpets in the toaster before eating…. they are not very nice cold and taste completely different hot. Best with butter melted straight from the toaster and eaten while hot with golden or maple syrup!
